Memorial Wall Post

Dear Zach, ☘️
Beloved son.

I write this quote below on the wall again and again because it matters, and rings true. The loss has/is ever changing and a child should never go before their parents!

Heartfelt condolences to all dealing with loss.

“Where you used to be, there is a hole in the world, which I find myself constantly walking around in the daytime, and falling in at night. I miss you like hell!” (always) —Edna St. Vincent Millay

It’s been an inconceivable fifteen-plus years and your light still shines. And it always will. We will all make sure we keep you alive in our lives. ZACH, you are so loved and so missed.

The pain of loss is not gone, never gone. You never forget your child, and we miss him immensely.
Life goes on…
And life is messy.
And life is a blessing.
And grief comes in stages and stacks up. It’s a feeling of angst at moments that Zach is not here, and we scream out for him.

I (we) wait for you.

I (we) do endure this new normal.
But I don’t like it.
Life is not fair.
Life is difficult.
And we always remember the love.
Love never fails, never.
I love you all.
LoveMx, Mom 💜 (Spokane, WA)
