Dear Daniel, you were born. October 24, 1989 and died tragically in a car accident at age 18 on Nov 17, 2007. I raised you and your older sister and best friend, Vanessa, solo from age 3 and 4 and it was such a privilege to be your dad. My heart aches with grief but I’m trying to do the best I can. I have more compassion than ever and trying to live life in a way that honors you. I even went bungee jumping for you and I hope you smiled. Vanessa is living a good life and misses you so much. Your mom passed away recently but I know she carries your love with her, just as I do daily. I love you and miss you so much , Dad
