The Camp TCF is a two-day camp for bereaved siblings ages 6-17 who have experienced the death of a brother or sister. Held during The Compassionate Friends’ annual national conference, this special gathering will provide siblings from the ages of 6 years to 17 years with a place that is their own during the conference weekend. Camp TCF will offer children and teens the opportunity to spend time with other bereaved siblings, letting them know that they are not alone. The goal of this camp is to provide a caring environment for children and teens to be able to process their grief while also having fun with traditional recreational activities. Attendees will receive lunch and snacks on Friday and Saturday. The Camp TCF will be on Friday, July 3rd from 8:15 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday, July 4th from 8:15 am to 4:00 pm. Camp attendees will be rooming with their parents. The Camp TCF is planned, overseen, and provided by trained professionals and volunteers with many years of experience creating a safe space for bereaved children and teenagers.
