Megan was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in November of 2021 at the age of 27. She went through the standard of care, but the tumor spread and the right to try drug she had been taking started giving her horrible side effects. Her care team decided it would be best to stop all treatment. She passed away 3 months later, in February, 2023, with her siblings, parents and husband by her side at their home. She was only 28 years old, and only survived GBM for 15 short months. We all miss her terribly.
