Nina was 15 1/2 years old, when she was the victim of a drunk driver while vacationing in Orlando, FL with her stepdad, mom, and younger brother. It was also on her mother’s birthday. Nina was a long-haired brunette with brown eyes and a smile that would light up a room. She had braces for many years and she smiled big for photos, never worrying about her braces showing. Even photographers would tell her to smile closed mouthed. When they would say that to her, she would simply shrug her shoulders and keep smiling that wide smile for all to see. She was as genuine as they come. A friend to all. Compassionate, kind, loving, smart and creative. She loved to organize meetings and gatherings, any kind of party. When she was 10 years old, she threw a surprised wedding reception for her mom and stepdad Greg because they eloped and never had a “real” wedding or reception. She arranged food, handwritten invitations, a photographer to take pictures, and even got the wedding bell for the top of the cake that she also ordered from a bakery! And even more amazing, she pulled it all off! That was our Nina…always thinking of someone else and rarely herself. The world is missing from it this loving heart from it, but she is a bright star in the heavens. Miss you, baby girl…
