In Loving Memory

In Loving Memory of Chris Seehuetter

Christopher James Seehuetter, “Chris”, was 39-years-old when he unexpectedly took his own life in June of 2012 (11 years ago) to the shock of his family and friends..he hid his depression well. He was an undercover police officer, so his career was extremely stressful. However, Chris had wanted to be a police officer from the time he was 4 years old and that never changed. One of the happiest days of his lifetime was the day he got his badge. He was hired first by the Richfield Police Department, followed by his dream job…the St. Paul Police Department. He was proud to be a “cop”…he took his job very seriously. He hoped to combine his two loves – dogs and police work – and the second part of his dream would have been complete as a K9 police officer. He also loved children, especially babies, and his Jack Russell terriers Maggie, Alex, and Charley. He had a great sense of humor, even playing practical jokes on the other “Men in Blue” he worked with. We miss his crooked smile caused by Bells palsy on each side of his face as an infant; he was self-conscious of, yet to us it was part of Chris’ and his uniqueness and added to what was special about him. We miss and love you, Christopher. Take good care of yourself, Nina, your grandparents and uncles Tom and Mark Seehuetter
