In Loving Memory

In Loving Memory of Mattie Davis

Mattie was in a house fire and left our family on September 12, 2019. Our oldest sister loved her family – especially her grandchildren, her birthday parties, reading books, working crossword puzzles, traveling and overall, she just loved life! Never allowing anything or anyone to upset her, she was the most stress-free person I’ve ever met and would give her last dime to a person in need. Some say she lived a good life (80 years of age) and this is true, but it doesn’t lessen our pain.

There is not a day that goes by that she is not missed, thought or spoken of. Her wisdom, sense of humor and the ability to speak truth to power are things that she instilled in her children and grandchildren. There are no words that describe how much she is loved and missed. She will forever be in our minds and hearts.

Remembered by Children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters and brother
