Our beloved “Johnny Rocket” taken from us far too soon on July 17, 2025. Never one to give up hope, he took his Ewing’s Sarcoma diagnosis with a fierce determination that he would take on each relapse as he did before…just tell me what I need to do. “I did it once and I’ll do it again.” He fought like a warrior for 4 years and finally decided that once the treatments stopped working, he would stop chemo and radiation because he was tired of feeling the side effects of it. Although he was forced to grow up quickly after being diagnosed at 15, he still managed to enjoy life and hanging out with friends or gaming with his buddies. He loved to ski and play tennis/pickleball. He traveled to Canada and Red Sox Spring Training Camp. He was gifted a wonderful Make A Wish trip to Hawaii which gave us some wonderful memories together. Life sure is hard now without you buddy. A piece of my heart is missing. I know you’re still with us but it’s not the same and you are missed beyond words. I hope it is beautiful where you are and you are riding your motorcycle just as fast as you can.
