The Tampa Bay Area Chapter – Walk to Remember

October 15, 2016

On Saturday, October 15th 2016, The Tampa Bay Area Chapter of TCF will be hosting the 2nd Annual Walk to Remember.

Check-In / Registration: 9:00 – 9:45 am

Cost: $ 35.00 per person with T-Shirt  $15.00 per person without T-Shirt

Closing Ceremony with Butterfly Release – 11:30 am

Please bring a photo or a copy of a photo of your child/loved one with you on the day of the walk.

There will an opening ceremony at 10 am then the walk will begin.

The cost for the walk will go towards outreach efforts.

Whether someone walks a couple hundred feet or the full distance is not important. What is important is that we have taken this time to join with family and friends who care that an important person, a child, is missing from our lives.

We will have pictures along the route of our children, siblings, and grandchildren taken too soon. If you would like to have your loved one’s photo along the route, please bring a photo for us to display. We will have pre- made Walk To Remember signs you can purchase to add your photo directly along our walk route where we can add our thoughts and wishes for each other.

We will have a few activities and special participants to help us with our grieving. There will be a closing ceremony with a butterfly release.

The Compassionate Friends Walk To Remember is open to anyone who would like to walk in memory of their children, siblings, grandchildren, and loved ones.
