Employer Matched Giving can double the value of an employee’s gift to The Compassionate Friends. While many employers match gifts dollar-for-dollar, some companies will give double or even triple the original donation.
Some companies may also reward employees’ volunteer efforts by making a contribution to a charity commiserate to the number of volunteer hours you work.
Also, if you participate in a Facebook fundraiser or other type of fundraising event, your employer may match the money raised through sponsorships or other donations. Guidelines and amounts vary with each company. Typically, individuals must submit forms to their employers.
If your employer offers this incentive for your philanthropic giving, please submit any required form or verification letter to support@compassionatefriends.org and reference the date and amount of your donation.
