Both traditional and contemporary carols will be presented, with some carols for all to sing. At the beginning of the concert, there will be a candle lighting which has become a yearly tradition inspired by The Compassionate Friends, Inc. Everyone in every time zone around the world is united to light a candle in honor of all children who have died; that their lights may always shine. As the candles go out in one time zone, they will be lit in the next, creating a wave of light that will encircle the globe. This year marks the 13th anniversary of honoring and remembering all children gone far too soon. The candle lighting and concert are open to the public and the concert is free. A reception will follow the concert.
