Surveys

Two "When a Child Dies" surveys have been completed by The Compassionate Friends, the first in 1999 and the second in 2006. The surveys allow a better of understanding of how grief after the death of a child affects bereaved parents in the areas of work and marriage (and divorce). They also allow us to find out where bereaved parents are finding support following the death of their child. The studies also look at knowledge and awareness of The Compassionate Friends and other major bereavement organizations.
